Ask our teamWhat duct construction standards do you follow?
Ductwork is built to the SMACNA HVAC Duct Construction Standards and applicable IS standards. Sheet gauges and joint reinforcement are selected from the SMACNA tables for pressure classes from 1″ to 10″ w.g. (250 to 2,500 Pa).
Which duct joint systems can you supply?
TDF (rolled-on flange), slip-on flange including the 4-bolt slip-on system, angle flange for heavier duty, and C & S cleats for smaller low-pressure sections. We recommend the joint system to suit the pressure class and site sequence.
Do you manufacture air handling units?
Yes. Truestar builds double-skin modular AHUs, treated fresh air units, hygienic and ceiling-suspended units, configured section by section to the project duty. Casing performance is specified to EN 1886 and the class achieved is confirmed at the time of offer.
Can you supply UL-listed fire and smoke dampers?
Yes. Through Venti-Tron, our group company, we supply the Ruskin life-safety range listed to UL 555 and UL 555S, including the FSD60 combination fire/smoke damper and the TFD80 tunnel damper for metro and road tunnels.
Where are your plants, and do you deliver across India?
We manufacture in Valsad (Gujarat), Medak (Telangana) and Noida (Uttar Pradesh), with a new plant in Bengaluru planned for 2027, and we supply projects across India.
What should I send for a quotation?
Duct layout drawings and the project specification, the design pressure class and construction standard, schedules for dampers, diffusers, grilles and terminals, and your programme dates or phased delivery needs.
Do you provide shop drawings and submittals?
Yes. Approval drawings and duct layouts are issued for consultant review before fabrication, and submittal data or product samples can be provided on request.
